Joseph Kluesener (bassoon). A versatile performer, educator and concert curator, Joseph Kluesener maintains a diverse career.  Kluesener is Second Bassoonist and Faculty at Wintergreen Summer Music Festival (VA), and has performed with the United States Air Force, The Phoenix Symphony, Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra and Kentucky Symphony.  Kluesener is heard on American Public Media’s Performance Today with Paradise Winds.  Abroad, Kluesener has performed at Aveiro International Music Festival (Portugal) and was Artist/Faculty at Saarburg Serenaden (Germany); nationally, in conferences of the International Viola Society, North American Saxophone Alliance, International Clarinet Association and the International Double Reed Society.

From 2014-2017, Kluesener was appointed Artistic Director of Fountain Hills Chamber Players (Fountain Hills, AZ) and curated events with the grassroots alt-classical movement, Classical Revolution PHX from 2010 to 2014.

Adjunct Faculty in the Maricopa Community College District, Kluesener also maintains a private studio. Kluesener received Doctor of Musical Arts and Master of Music degrees from Arizona State University, and two Bachelors of Music cum laude from University of Cincinnati.

Percussionist, collaborator, and composer Corey Denham is committed to the commissioning and performance of new and improvised music.  Corey is a founding member of Forward Motion, a chamber ensemble that has commissioned and performed contemporary music in various venues since 2016. Corey can be heard on recordings through labels such as Potenza Music, Temporary Residence Limited, Medium Sound and numerous self-released projects. As a commissioner and collaborator Corey has worked closely with musicians and composers including Rob Funkhouser, Eric Salazar and Jenna Page. Most recently he co- released Soundscapes Vol. 1 with flutist Jenna Page, an album of flute and percussion improvisations inspired by iconic locations in Indianapolis IN. Recent solo performances include the Music + Festival (Tucson AZ), TURN UP Multimedia Festival (Tucson AZ), Oh My Ears Festival (Phoenix AZ), National Conference on Percussion Pedagogy (Memphis TN) and soundSCAPE Composition and Performance Exchange (Blonay Switzerland).

Corey currently works as a dance accompanist for the University of Arizona School of Dance and teaches a private studio of all ages at Allegro School of Music in Tucson Arizona.

Corey holds a masters degree in music performance from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts and bachelors degrees in music education and performance from Mars Hill University. He is currently completing a DMA(Doctor of Musical Arts) at the University of Arizona. Corey also serves as a board member for New Works Project a non-profit organization that enables musicians to participate in the commissioning of new music at an accessible price.
